BIKING

Feel the Florida breeze as you bike through the Ponte Vedra area. We’ve described five different versions of biking adventures from biking through nature preserves to cycling on the beach to riding on the historic A1A. Whether you take your bike ride solo, with a small group, or as a part of one our community’s organized bike excursions, your trip will be memorable.

What better way to see long expanses of the ocean but to bike the beach?  Ride at low tide for a nice firm sand base.

Get some speed up as you ride from Ponte Vedra Beach to St. Augustine on A1A. If you go all the way it’s about a 25-mile ride one way.

These well-marked trails invite mountain bikers to enjoy flat, scenic journeys in this unique ecosystem. They can easily accommodate large groups.

Bicycling in an organized bike ride is an easy way to enjoy the sport and enjoy the unique scenery.

Bikers in the Nocatee Preserve enjoy the beauty of this preserved land. Designed with marked overlooks for resting spots, bikers can take in lovely vistas as they ride through extraordinary scenery.
